WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?

Acupuncture is a healing art that has been practiced for thousands of years.  It has proven to help people  by positively impacting physical and underlying systemic issues in body and mind.  As the body consists of different energy channels, stimulating specific acupuncture points on or near the surface of the skin on these channels can help trigger biochemical and physiological changes in the patient.  Having an acupuncture practioner who can understand where energy, or the body's "qi" (pronounced "chee") is blocked and where it flows is key.

Acupuncture needles can help facilitate the movement of this energy in these channels.  The needles are hair thin but very powerful.  They can loosen tight and painful muscles, boost organ function, decrease inflammation, remove blockages and stagnation, lift the spirit, improve circulation, digestion, absorption, hormone imbalances, neurological problems, and even increase T-cell count, supporting the immune system, and so much more.

How Does ACUPUNCTURE BENEFIT US?

Energy runs through our mind, body, and spirit.  When it is blocked, or out of balance, it can lead to issues and conditions that manifest throughout the body  and mind.

The same condition in one person may make itself known differently in another.  Dr. Charles Mullaly is a healer, who listens and ‘reads’ each patient with their unique experiences and symptoms to determine how best to treat them.  Integrating his knowledge of Eastern practice and Western medicine, he tailors the acupuncture treatment plan to each patient, helping to release energy in the body's different systems to facilitate healing.

By addressing an underlying issue, acupuncture can help correct and modify the contributing causes on all levels, mental, physical, and emotional, which in turn help restore balance.
